On 31 October 2009 I registered the domain name for this site, so today it turns 17. It is older than any of my other projects.

It started as a page of a newbie web developer, and a few days later I wrote my first post about it. Since then the site has had three versions: pure HTML/CSS/JS with a “pinky” design, butterflies and manga girls, then Drupal 7 with a Bootstrap theme, and since 2019 Hexo with the Tranquilpeak theme. Seven years ago I wrote a short note about the 10 year anniversary, and here we are again.

Over these years there have been essays, translations, postcards, travel notes, yearly summaries, the birth of my son and lots of pet projects. This is the 52nd post and already the tenth this year, more than in any year before. Looks like the site is having a second youth.
